XK X260B brings WiFi FPV and altitude hold to you

XK X260B makes FPV easy

We’re gunna take a look at the XK X260B which is a mid sized WiFi FPV enabled drone that also features altitude hold, one key return, headless, flip mode, and FUTABA S-FHSS compatability.

The quadcopter appears to be put together well and it looks like some thought was put into the design. It features red props in the back and black in the front and also includes green LEDS for the front and red/orange for the back. This should help you tell your orientation easily when you are high in the air.

Flight times are great at up to 12 minutes and there is even a removable battery so you can keep several charged and swap them out one after another as they drain.

FPV is streamed over WiFi to an app on your smartphone where it also seems like it is recorded, the video that comes from this FPV recording isn’t anything special quality wise but does give you a good look at the scenery when you’re flying high up.

I have not yet figured out whether or not there will be an adjustable angle with this camera.

Using altitude hold you can set your height and basically forget it, this enables you to more easily record video and fly through the FPV. This is becoming an increasingly common feature and is great for quadcopters where the main feature is video.

The transmitter is your regular run of the mill transmitter, nothing too special while having all the controls you need. Thumb sticks are the longer type that have a jagged edge on the top allowing for better grip. Phone is mounted to the top of transmitter via an adjustable clip.

There is also a button for a camera function on this transmitter which I’m not sure will be used since it has a phone app and normally WiFi fpv is controlled by phone.

I would say that the XK 260B is a pretty good quadcopter and makes a good middle point price wise between the XK X260 and the XK X260A. If you’re looking for a good WiFi FPV flyer then this might be for you, click the button below to purchase your own.
