Get the XK X260 today
Today we’re checking out the XK X260 quadcopter that features altitude hold, headless mode, one key return, FUTABA S-FHSS compatability, and flip mode.
Design wise this quadcopter looks pretty good with the different colored props and LEDs in the front and back which gives you an easy way to tell orientation. The bottoms of the motors has some exposed gears so I would be slightly worried about getting something caught in it but it’s not a major concern for me.
This quadcopter also features altitude hold which in the last 6 months is starting to seem pretty common place. With this mode you can let go of the throttle and your drone will stay at the altitude you left it at.
The flight time for the XK X260 is pretty good at 8 – 12 minutes and includes a removable battery so that you can eliminate downtime by swapping batteries.
For the transmitter you have just a basic layout with buttons for camera (for camera version), flip mode, and headless mode. There is also an LCD display and the control sticks are the kind that are longer but have sort of jagged edges so your fingers grip well, might be good for pinch style flyers.
The transmitter also uses FUTABA S-FHSS which means if you have a compatible transmitter you can fly this drone using that rather than the included transmitter.
Overall this is looking like a pretty nice quadcopter and for the price and the fact that it has altitude hold I would say that it’s a great buy. If you’d like to pick yourself one up click the button below to purchase.
