The Flytec T22 is a new quadcopter featuring folding arms, altitude hold, one key return, autolanding/takeoff flip mode, and up to 8 minutes of flight time.
Folding quadcopters seem to be the latest trend and there have been quite a few released just this month. The arms themselves fold to the side of the quadcopter allowing for easy transport and storage.
The Flytec T22 is quite large when compared to some other folding quadcopters and is definitely an outdoor exclusive flyer because of the large size.
The battery itself is removable allowing you to purchase multiple batteries and keep them charged for extra flight time.
Altitude hold is a feature that allows you to maintain altitude without having to manually adjust throttle. This can be good if you’re a beginner but might be an annoyance if you’re a veteran flyer as it allows slightly less control.
The transmitter is mid sized featuring shoulder buttons, flat style control sticks, and looks like it will be nice to use.
There is also another model called the T22S which does come with a camera but doesn’t appear to be online anywhere yet.
The Flytec T22 overall is looking like a pretty decent folding quadcopter though because of it’s size it is a little bit expensive when compared to other options. Altitude hold is also a nice touch and again might be a slight annoyance if you’re used to flying as it can limit your pitch due to the nature of how it works.
