FEILUN FX132C1 is the new robotic WiFi FPV quadcopter invading

FEILUN FX132C1 robot quadcopter

Today we’re checking out the FEILUN FX132C1 which is a new quadcopter featuring Wifi FPV, flips, headless mode, and a friendly robot man sitting on top.

Probably the most interesting thing about this quadcopter is the design, structurally it seems pretty solid and then you have this little robot guy sitting on top. I think it looks pretty neat and while I’m pretty sure this is going to be more of a toy than anything it’s definitively cool.

FEILUN FX132C1 back

As of right now it looks like it only comes in white with blue accents and props which I don’t see them really changing since it appears like it’ll be a one off thing.

The battery itself is internal so you are forced to wait for a battery recharge but it seems like they decided to take the same route as the MJX X929H and have use a microUSB connector for the charge port.

It does seem however that they’ve included charging circuitry in the USB cable which lowers the weight of the FX132C1 but it means you can’t just use any USB cable.

FEILUN FX132C1 included

The camera is mounted to the front of the quadcopter and is reported to be 0.3MP and stream video to your phone. Since it doesn’t include a microSD card slot this means that video will be recorded to your phone via an app and is subject to signal quality/interference.

One problem I can see is that it’s going to be a little bit difficult to fly using only the FPV since it doesn’t have altitude hold which normally saves an FPV quadcopter. That being said you’ll still be able to use it to see where you’re going, what you’re looking at, and what you’re recording.

FEILUN FX132C1 transmitter

The transmitter they’ve included with this one is pretty decent looking, at first I was turned off by the shape but now it seems like it could be pretty comfortable to use after looking at it. Buttons are all labeled nicely and it comes with flat topped control sticks, on the top of the transmitter you have an adjustable mount for your phone.

Final Thoughts

The FEILUN FX132C1 is definitely cool looking quadcopter but I am not sure about the lack of altitude hold with the WiFi FPV and think it would have been better off with a 2MP camera which they may end up releasing a version of. With all of that being said however it is a pretty cool looking quadcopter and is worth checking out.
